The plaza was designed with existing Jacarandas relocated to blend with the existing campus. The end result was a LEED Platinum project that looked like it has always been there. Negotiating fire access constraints within an existing 3.5 acre campus provided a creative palette to carve out nooks and crannies that are intimate yet urban at the same time.

A Class ‘A’ creative office reimaging, deserves a holistic design approach that highlights its brand, views, ambience, and ensure all-year-round use for its inhabitants. The entry was renewed with splashy succulents and formal containers. The rooftops now cater for small to large groups paired, with both formal and informal seating, to capture the amazing downtown views that is rare in downtown San Diego. Soft wood finishes, lighting, and lush drought tolerant plant palette screens the street traffic to create an urban oasis in this LEED Gold project.

VANS HQ2 | Costa Mesa

Designers took the four timeless VANS’ design pillars of art, action sports, street culture and music and composed a series of productive social spaces that sought to maximize user's happiness quotient and enhance overall workplace productivity. The lack of an exising holistic campus gave rise to 'The Street' that connects a relocated 12' tall skate ramp to the 'The Square', a great lawn with a stage that housed 275 seated participants. 'The Circuit' continues through the sea of photovoltaic arrays, creating a loop wellness walk through the campus, ending back at the skate ramp..

Reimaging an an aging office campus required a fresh take on it’s exterior amenities. A formal entry flanked by public/private gathering spaces, custom counter for outdoor work, warm finishes, and a drought tolerant plant palette, spoke to the needs of our contemporary workforce.

1617 Westcliff | Newport Beach

A highly collaborative effort yearned a minimalistic synchrony between the interior and exterior plaza. By unifying pure materials and a custom paver, the refreshed modern outdoor plaza plays well with the new facade and finishes. The adjoining restaurant received a similar treatment with drought tolerant landscape mixed with dappled fruitless olives and Silver sheen.

Hilton Garden Inn & Homewood Suites Bayside | San Diego

Hemmed by railroad tracks to the north and the PCH to the south, this dual hotel still managed to stand out as gem along the revitalized bayfront of Little Italy. Preserving the art-deco China Camp facade was a great way to start project The entry porte-cochere was infused with granite seat walls and stone pavers while the interior courtyards boasted open views and a communal fire table, fit for large gatherings.

Springhill Suites - Residence Inn Anaheim Resort | Anaheim

Developing two new hotels right across from Disneyland meant a strict compliance with the Anaheim Resort Overlay. Despite the constraints, the design team managed to execute a template that will be modelled by by surrounding hospitality revitalizations. From pool decks to interactive water play on rooftops to respite spaces for pets, the project showed how urban resorts can placemaking can be driven by respite from the resort excitement. .

The Station | El Segundo

Situated within a earshot of the El Segundo Metro Station, we reimaged this existing office campus to attract for creatives. The façade was cladded with Trespa panels which influenced the color palette of the flatwork, water feature tile and ultimately, the foundation planting that uplifted the exterior of the office campus.

Tustin Centre

Outdoor amenity replaced an underused turf area to reposition a Class A high rise office for new tenants. Project incorporated shaded ‘living room’ amenities, meandering paths, bocce ball court, and respites with greenwallls.
