Tanahworks is honored to have connected with Kaaren Nyberg and her passion, through USGBC, to develop concepts for a ‘Forest Garden’, that is a safe space that celebrates the regional ecology, encourage cultivation and instill mindfulness through a horticultural participatory experience.

Adding a school within a school, challenged the team to celebrate verticality and flexible outdoor learning spaces to meet the needs of eSTEM learning. Uncluttered circulation was punctuated by pod-like outdoor classrooms to cater various seating sizes. Introducing inspirational elements that celebrates eSTEM learning keeps students focused and engaged on what they are here to accomplish daily.
