Constructing a chapel and Student Creation Center, during an active campus, took a discipline approach to the design and phasing. Faith based materials, details and symbolic elements manifested through warm stone stretches and a cross-shaped runnel fountain that breaks at the “top” of the cross into three water representing the Trinity. Set within the fountain wall are 14 Stations of the Cross depicting Jesus’ Christ’s crucifixion and burial. Coming out of the chapel, you are greeted with lush gold flag stones and a stone walkway embedded with a ‘rosary path’. Main path into the Student Center was lined with precast linear donor pavers.
